If you are facing criminal charges, or simply have a legal question of any kind – it’s often difficult to know where to begin.

What do I do?  Who can help me?  How much will it cost?  These are the questions everyone asks regarding any legal matter.

The best course of action is to take it one step at a time.  1) Look into local organizations that provide legal assistance, referrals, or representation.  2)  Call and set up an appointment.  3)  If the organization cannot meet your needs, then ask to be referred to someone who can.  Better yet, call me at (716) 465-2532

*TIP:  DO NOT immediately give the organization or attorney that you contact your life story.  Simply state what you think your legal issue is.  If its criminal charges then just indicate: what the charge is and what court it’s in.  When you speak with your attorney, he or she will ask you for any additional information, as it becomes necessary.
